Our property is lined with beautiful shade trees and stunning shrubbery blooming from spring thru fall. There are picnic and BBQ areas available around the community for residents and guests. Accomodations located in walking distance include the Horizon City swimming pool, the Moonlight Bar/ Grill. Residents claim the Moonlight prepares the best burgers in the area. Adjacent to our community is the Horizon City Golf Course where a number of townhome patios offer panoramic views of the serene course. There is also a lit walking path that the Town of Horizon provides located at the end of Ashford on Horizon Blvd.
The Horizon Country Club Townhouse community atmosphere offers the opportunity for residents to stroll the property under the shade of our trees during the spring, summer and fall. Blooming shrubs and cactus decorate the area with fragrance and an array of stunning colors. The fall shades stun the eye with shimmering delights of orange, purple, yellow and rusty leaves. Common areas are maintained by gardeners who water, mow and maintain these areas. Owners/residents are responsible for cleaning and maintaining the areas on patios. Various activites are planned by the HCCTHA board to provide opportunities for residents to engage in community wide gatherings. All are encouraged to attend with your family to visit with your neighbors and meet new residents. Watch for events posted on this website each month. Any accolades, concerns regarding common areas or questions regarding gardners should be addressed with the board. This community is truly a treasured oasis in the desert that is Horizon City. The 18 Whole Horizon City Golf Course is a great neighbor providing entertainment and exercise for our residents and all residents of Horizon City. The Golf Course is owned and operated my the Horizon Regional Municipal Utility District. Our residents do not have any special priviledges or association memberships with the golf course.
The Horizon Country Club Community Swimming Pool is owned by the Moonlight Grill. Contact the Moonlight Grill this summer for cost, open and close dates and times.
